I’ve been telling myself for months that I had to share our Winter Wedding Styled shoot. Never mind that it’s March and we should be staring at all things Spring. We loved putting this Christmas Wedding styled shoot at Wilkens Farm with everyone. When Albelisa of Maple Field Floral & Designs and I decided to do a Styled Shoot outside in December, we knew it would be a challenge. The thing about a wedding in December in New York in the beautiful Hudson Valley is you never can really predict the weather, the Sunday before our shoot it was 60 degrees, the day of the shoot it was 17 degrees. But like any true wedding planner, we got it done even if it’s freezing and we can’t feel our toes.
Albelisa had a beautiful Christmasy and floral vision with bright colored bouquets and centerpieces and a beautiful circular arch filled with different evergreens to tie the theme together. This shoot is sure to inspire you, and with a little help from some amazing wedding professionals we call friends, we effortlessly brought it to life. Our friend Genevieve created the custom-made holiday-themed envelopes that housed the most perfect holiday invitation suite, that perfectly coordinated with the bride’s bouquet and tablescape Christmas colors! And to add a little something different to this shoot, we invited Bear the Golden Doodle to join us. If this styled shoot doesn’t get you in the “Winter Wedding at Christmas time” spirit, I don’t know what will!
